Hex Bolts

Hex Bolts are defined by having a hexagon head, which can be driven by a spanner or socket, and being part threaded. They are available in ISO metric, Unified National Coarse and Unified National Fine.

Hexagon Head Bolts are available in high tensile steel and stainless steel. High tensile bolts are Grade 8.8 as standard, but extra-high tensile Grade 10.9 bolts are also available for critical applications. Surface finishes available are Self Colour (black oxidised and oiled), BZP (Bright Zinc Plated - clear passivated) and Galvanised (thick zinc coating), in ascending order of corrosion protection. For each product range, you will find information on the bolt dimensions, including how to calculate the length of the threaded section of the shank.
