Hex Setscrews

Hex Setscrews are defined by having a hexagon head, which can be driven by a spanner or socket, and being fully threaded. They are available in ISO metric, Unified National Coarse/Fine, and British Standard Fine threadforms.

Non-stainless steel hex setscrews are usually Grade 8.8 high tensile steel, but extra-high tensile strength (Grade 10.9) setscrews are also available for critical applications, such as automotive engineering. A range of surface finishes are available for steel, including Self Colour (black oxidised and oiled), BZP (Bright Zinc Plated) and Galvanised. Hex setscrews are also available in brass and nylon!
